About Us
About Us
We are a community of believers made new by God's gift of faith.
We confess one God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Father created us and everything that exists by the power of His Word. God the Son, Jesus, redeemed us from sin, death and hell by his perfect, righteous life, sacrificial death on the cross and glorious resurrection from the dead. God the Holy Spirit gives us the new life of faith and gathers us into the Holy Christian Church which is the communion of saints made up of believers from every generation.
We are affiliated with The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), a mission-oriented, Bible-based, confessional Christian denomination headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., founded on the teachings of Martin Luther. In grateful response to God’s grace and empowered by the Holy Spirit through Word and Sacraments, the mission of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is vigorously to make known the love of Christ by word and deed within our churches, communities and the world.
What We Believe
God reveals Himself to us through Scripture alone which is the story of how He saves us through Grace alone. We receive these gifts through Faith alone.
The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
